1974年オーストラリア・ブリズベーン出身のシェーンボーデンは現在、サンディエゴ・カリフォルニアを拠点に活躍するアーティストです。
絶えず変化するスタイル、直感的で自由な感覚と奇抜なテーマにより、世間が持つ懸念や定義を避けてきたアーティスト、シェーン・ボーデンはよく例えとしてステロイドを注射したアンディ・ウォーホル、新しいバージョンのダミアンハーストだと言われています。
時には自分自身の名前に加え、自身の分身であるMofisto, S&B, Aw.then.tik.8.ed, Yves Kaiser, Bakku-shaneとなって作業を行い様々なアートを生み出してきました。
過去2年間で約8000枚もの作品を制作し、多くのコレクター達の手に渡りました。

In addition to his own name, he also works under the alter ego’s / collections of Mofisto, S&B, Aw.then.tik.8.ed, Yves Kaiser, Bakku-shane.
His creative output ofpaintings has been prodigious & astonishing in the last 2 years with over 8,000 original works completed & snapped up by collectors. He is considered by many as the world’s mostprolific artist.
Synoptic flashing juxtapositions of silk screened imagery nostalgically recall the visual stratagems of the sixties; the collage techniques & unexpected materialcontrasts here & there, deliberately untidy contours & lavish paint smears meters long in these new combinations remind us that his works continue to bridge the gap betweenaction painting & Pop Art as well as the seminal gap between art & life which he has so compellingly carved out for himself.
